Anyone know where I can get my hands on a black bowtie cover for my grill and my emblem on my tail gate for my lmm. I think it would look pretty sweet since my truck is black. Thanks

Guys are just painting them. I'm not aware of anyone selling anything other than a chrome insert.

Not an LMM

Could always use window sticker vinyl. Any local "sign" shop should sell you a small scrap of it in black for next to nothing. Just stick it on and cut it out with an X-acto knife. Then if you want to go back to stock just peel off and wipe it down with some goo gone.

That's not a bad idea.

yep, do a decal or just paint it.

I used dupli-color for mine (and the lower section on the bumper) and I love how it turned out.

This is how I did it. If you follow the thread down a few messages, you will see how to paint the side, tailgate and wheel cover emblems.

I did mine black by powder coating a billet aluminum bowtie. I hasn't chipped yet in 4 years. This is the second truck it has been on and has over 100,000 miles on it. The only way to go IMO.
