My ses light came on and i had it checked and the code was p0380 which is the glow plug. So does this mean that i need to replace it now before it goes out. thanks for any help

I'm taking mine in monday to get injectors and i have the same P0380 Code so i'm assuming there is some sort of glow plug issue too. How can i get out of the $100 Dedutable. I phoned the GM U.S. toll free # and she was able to access the document (07057) covering special Glow Plug coverage to 200,000 miles (320,000 km.) but told me I would have to go through GM Canada. GM Canada told me they can find no such document and that the trucks in Canada are different from those in the U.S., but I said the VIN# (2E293171) is included in the Coverage bulletin. Does anyone have any knowledge of this coverage in Canada and if it turns out to be the controller is that covered? Thanks, Warren. | ||
