On level 6, my Epower can make the truck smoke to the point where it stops traffic. :o: I am averaging about 19mpg as of now.

i second that! im running level 9 right now and its just nasty! smoke is insane, you literally cant see the road behind you if you stand on it, cars behind me freak out and swerve left and right or stop in the middle of the road when i punch it cause apparntly theyve never seen smoke before or they think itll seep in their car and turn them inside out or something! MPG's are pretty good, i dont figure them all that much but i did pull a 4K camper on a trip and on level 5 i got 15.5 and thats lifted 8" on 37's. now when blowing smoke though you gotta know that its wasting fuel but you dont have to drive like that all the time so just save that for when you wanna have fun. oh ya, and on a straight run in 2WD when it hits second itll break the 37's free like nothing, so much so that ive had the ass end kick sideways, its really crazy, great tuner for the money. also it will defuel on the lower tunes and even on the higher ones if you want it to. one more thing though, you WILL need a built tranny to run anything over level 4 or 5 maybe. im running a Merchant built stage 3 and it puts the power to the ground sooo smooth.

Can the e-power reset and relearn the tranny?

I second the smoke. I just seen Foreman run on the Dyno today and I thought the sun went away and his truck disappeared from the Dyno room.

yes it can, can also check balance rates which comes in handy for keeping an eye on the injectors.

and like Ridinhi said the smoke is intense! i ran level 10 for the first time on the dyno saturday and i was amazed at the amount of smoke, filled the whole room, if i had run longer i would have gotten choked out from all the smoke coming in the cab! i can only imagine how much there will be when i add the lift pump.

What's the fascination with a thick smoke cloud? If enough people do it then cities will start making local laws against it. Then it will spread to State level and then Federal. And then none of us can have fun even with mild systems!

I agree but not everyone will see that view!

its not something you do very often, well not me at least and i dont do it just to piss people off or anything unless theyre really asking for it. but at times its fun to see that coal roll! plus the chicks dig it and thats all that really matters!

What is the best setting for mileage? Also what's the highest level you can run on with just a stock trans? Does it clear codes?

Mileage settings will be within the first 2 levels (50hp and 90hp) and I wouldnt run any higher than level 3 if you want your stock transmission to live for longer than a year. It is cappable of reading and clearing DTCs.

Since they are two downloaders, you can only use one or the other. EFI Live can do more than the Epower will be able to.

Just got my e-power today and ran it for about an hour around town and love it! Nothing compaired to my hypertech. And by the way not doubting anyone but it does throw some smoke!

I've seen one of these for sale that says its only for a LLY or LBZ motor. Is this correct? I think on the ats site it says they work on 2001-2008 trucks?

The older Epower programmers were engine specific but for the past year and a half, we have made them a universal downloader for all engine makes from 01-09
