I am replacing the outer seal on the passenger side of my rear axle with RTV due to a leak. I am wondering what the torque spec on the axle bolts is so i can be sure to get them retightened appropriately. Is it possible with a 1/2 inch drive rachet or am I going to need something with some more ass, possibly a cheater bar.

Nice Avatar, does she wash your truck? :-)
Any who I did it with some RTV and tightened them up as hard as I could with an 8" 1/2 Drive. Get this though when I backed them out the majority of them had an 1/8" gap in between the bolt heads and the axle. I removed at least 3 of them with my fingers. Even the one bolt that was actually in there didn't require any strength. Now the funny part, I JUST HAD MY DIFFS SERVICED and they didn't even look at the ends of the axles! I've had it with dealers, I am doing all my own work from now on period (except body work). Anywho I am going to hit them with a torque wrench when I get home for the fourth. I just don't have one here.
