I noticed that most of you guys that are changing shocks have 4x4's. I have an 04.5 two wheel drive and the ride is horrible. Do the 4 wheel drive trucks ride better from the factory. I currently have the firestone ride rite air bags because I pull a 13000# 5th wheel. I am trying to sell the 5th wheel, so weight is not an issue, and I am also not planning on lifting the truck. Which shocks do you all recommend for a stock, 2wd truck.
Thanks for your input.

Pretty much the consensus on this forum is the bilsteins. I have yet to get them for my truck but they are on my list of things to do.

Bilsteins hands down. They will also outlast all others by a wide margin...

Bilsteins rock :ro). Totally changed the ride of my truck. About $225 for 4 shocks if you install them yourself (it's easy) :grd:
