I am going to let this stay here because it is not a performance enhancer question, but another mod may think differantly.

Full disclosure: I am with Painless. More complete disclosure, I am the president of Painless.

I'll try to answer your question as openly as possible. The obvious response would be, if the Striker FE saves you 2 - 3 miles per gallon, then yes it is worth it. But you, I and all the readers of this forum know that, as they say, your mileage may vary. Factors such as driving conditions, altitude, engine condition, driving habits all can impact mileage. Two identical vehicles side by side can have different results.

So when we launched this product we decided the best thing we could do is put our money where our mouth is. We believe the product will do exactly what we say it will do and know from data from our own testing that the improvement in fuel mileage will be at least what we say it will be. (We've had reports of much greater.) However, we also belong to the real world and understand there may be instances, because of the variables noted above, that the opposite may be sure.

Which is why we back the Striker FE with an unconditional money back guarantee. So really you have nothing to lose by trying it, except for perhaps a little time.

We've been in the industry a long time and have, I believe, developed a name as a reputable company. We're not going to do anything to risk that. So I would encourage you to try the Striker FE and post your results - good or bad - on this forum. We would welcome the feedback.

Great post, and welcome to the diesel place.

not many companies are honest like this, everyone else seems to throw around "you WILL gain 4mpg!!!", except when you read the VERY fine print at the bottom. Painless comes right out and gives you the truth here, well done. ;)

This does fall under Electronics, so I am forced to move it.

I was checking it out. Does this Striker FE only work for the LB7. If so will it be available to the LLY, LBZ and LMM?

Striker doesn't want to chime in. Been a member since Feb. and only 1 post. I sent them a PM and they read it, but no answer back. Whats the deal?
