Well my truck is lifted about 8" with 37" tires and I am wanting to get myself a 28-30ft enclosed 5th wheel trailer to tow my race car. Are there any guys out there lifted this high with a 5th wheel? I am looking at getting a trailer very soon and am curious if it will even work.
Also if anyone has pics of their lifted 5th trailing setups I would appreciate it.
And... Does anyone know of where I can get myself a nice trailer in the Tampa Bay Florida area!?
Please help me out guys!!!

My truck is not lifted and I had to lower my husky 5th wheel hitch to the bottom holes and my trailer still rides a little high in the front. I don't think it will work with a lifted truck. I would sure check around to see what others are towing to the races and make some measurements.

I think it would depend on the trailer as to how high you could get it. Some trailers have adjustable axle hangers where you could possibly flip the axles and adjust the hangers to get a good match. Some trailers don't have adjustable axle hangers so it might be a bit more difficult.
I have seen toy haulers lifted pretty high running up and down the freeway. You might want to search for a toy hauler forum and see if anyone there has done it, and what they had to do.

You will have to buy a newer trailer, year 2000 or newer. You will also have to flip the axles on your trailer. There is a guy on this site who has your setup and tows a fifth. He has some great pics of his custom rig and trailer sitting at Pismo beach. Maybe someone can shoot those pics your way. Good luck

I guess I will call the place I'm planning on getting my trailer from and see if we can flip the axles and get it up in the air high enough... worst case scenario I will just get a bumper pull trailer in 24ft... I just wanted a 5th wheel because I know they are more stable...

The best thing to do is get a measurement of your bed rail hieght and start shopping. Find out what the hieghts on trailers are and how much lift you will get on each trailer by flipping the axles. Keep in mind you will have minimum clearance no matter what you decide so any moderate off road will be very tricky and probably impossible.
