Hey Everyone:
I am just wondering what type of alternator my truck has.
I'm not the original owner but I believe I have the snow plow package.
There is a plow frame but no plow when I bought it.
I can't make out any of the codes in the glove box because they are all but faded.

I am almost sure that they were all 105 amp across the board.

Having a plow frame on it is no guarantee that it has the prep package - people put plows on all the time without the prep. I don't even know when GM started offering that...

I kind of thought so. Somebody on this forum was saying that NAPA has a 140 alt.
that's a drop in.
I have to get someone at NAPA to confirm that it fits my year truck.
