My dealer does not have fuel filters in stock. Can you believe that?
WWW.oilguard.com (http://www.oilguard.com/) lists Racor Chevy Duramax OEM fuel filters. Will someone in the know please check this and report if any of those listed are in fact OEM replacements for a 05 Duramax.

Their price for a three pack is the same as a single filter at the local NAPA store so even if they're the recently discontinued single pass filters that's a good deal.

No what they have are the old style single pleat filters. My vendors including us have the new double pleated.

I snet all of the single layer units that I had back and only stock the new dual unit.

They have the dual layer units listed complete with one of my images:mad:

I'm not quite as cheap as they are, but close enough that I'm sure I can make up the difference somewhere down the road...

It appears Oilguard now has both the old and new style available.

John mentioned that he was not "quite as cheap" as they were, but he should have also mentioned that he is selling individual filters, whereas "they" require a quanity purchase of multiple filters to get a somewhat lower unit price.
