I'm getting ready to put a package on my truck from a local diesel shop, and I'm having trouble deciding what chip I want. He wants me to put on a quadzilla stealth 2 with the 215 tune. I want an edge with attitude. He said he would do it, but I can't decide which chip would be more safer, and better power. Help me out please.

Eh Ive heard a lot of stories about the edge not getting along with 1st gen. duramaxs. Ive heard a lot of good about the stealth but I havent ran either so I have no room to talk. The stealth is probably more powerful, but the edge is shift on the fly. Read up on both and decide for yourslef, they both have advantages. I have riddin in a edge powered duramax and it was pretty impressive, until I saw what other tuners and such could do. Id say they both would take thier tole on a stock tranny if ran hard. Just my .02

Do a search for "I limped it"
You will learn that there is no "safe" tuner/chip/...etc
Do the tranny and the TC first!
