Note to all, though I think the following can be posted in several catagories!
Just had my 05' Chevy w/ 39700 mi. at the dealer for some upgrades. Seems that GM will replace at no charge, your exterior trim moldings on your doors if they are 'off color' faded etc. My dealer ordered the 4 pieces and then sent them to the body shop to paint them my truck color (silver birch) then returned,once installed there's a much better look now than w/ the old speckled ones.
Also note my dealer did a warranty replacement of the upper steering shaft.
YES :D GM has finally (hopefully) have a fix for the clunk in our steering.
The new shaft has a plastic insert for the splines instead of the greaseing they always did which only worked for a short time. Also note if your dealer will not warranty replace your upper steering shaft,NAPA has one for around $70,which also is supposed to be better than the original ;)
So give your dealer a call maybe you can get some free parts and labor for your D-MAX:ro) P/N for my new upper strng shaft is 19153614:saluteusa:
