I had the Predator installed on my '05 Sierra for about 3 weeks and then went over to the Edge with Attitude. Did a few 0-60 runs with the Predator set on level 3. Those runs were 7.1 and 7.2 seconds. Had a chance to do the same runs with the Edge set at 3 today. Both of them were 7.5. The main difference that I felt was the low end. I felt like I was waiting for the power to come up with the Edge but it was pretty much right there with the Predator.
I like the Edge because it's quiet and easy to switch between power levels but it seems the Predator is good for more power. The only other mods done to this truck are a Volant induction and MBRP Cool Duals exhaust.

IIRC, my Predator does not defuel between shifts, Edge does. Might have something to do with the times.

I've also noticed that the Edge doesn't seem to kick in until you have your foot into it a bit. The predator's power is there the second you hit the peddle.

What dou you have you low boost setting on? Set it on the highest level and the power will be there. At least it is in mine.

I believe that's one down from the highest setting. I'll take a look at it in a little while.

Low boost set to 5 on mine. I can even feel the edge kick in with the 40hp pred tune. It feels like a big push when it kicks in.

I can feel a definite difference from one setting to the next. Make sure the tranny has fully learned the tune also.

Low boost setting was on 3. That has now been bumped to 5 so I will be taking a ride later :)

I don't know about the LLY, but that sounds a$$ backwards on a LB7.

I can't really comment of the side by side comparison but I just installed the Predator an hour ago and it yanks hard out the hole!! Gas pedal feels like the 420 ci stroker in my Vette!

I did a few more 0-60 and a 1/4 mile run today. Off idle to 60 MPH was 7.5 seconds. I stalled it up to about 1200 RPMs at the next light and was able to stop the timer in 6.6 seconds. Sounded like a low 15 second ET to me so I set the timer for a 1/4 pass and tried it again when I came off of the next light (highway lights :) ). That pass was a 15.31 with a bark around 75-80 MPH. I also came out at about 1200 RPMs.
I think it's time to send this one in for an update.
