First of all, I am nowhere near bragging. This post is what guys can expect on a dyno with just a few mods.
Here is what the truck as on it as of 06/28/08:
Turbo = stock
Tranny = stock w/ Amsoil ATF
Tires = stock ( 245/75/16 )
PPE Hot +2 E.T ( set to level 2 / 90hp )
S&B Intake
MBRP 5" cat back
Oil = Amsoil
Now I did three pulls:
Pull #1/ Setup was to get the dyno set right for the trucks RPM range.
Now that its set....
Pull #2 = 407.4 HP / 700.1 TQ
Pull #3 = 397.9 HP / 701.5 TQ
Avg out to 400/700
Dyno was done on a " Dyno Jet " in NC
So the moral of the numbers is, you can keep good MPGs and still post respectable HP and Tq numbers.
