My new truck will be here the first of April and I would like to get the tranny done pretty quick. I need advise on which way to go. I am leaning toward ATS. I'm thinking about a level 3 kit minus the co-pilot but adding c4 and c5 clutches. I don't plan on sled pulling anymore, but I would like to run a pretty stout stack to keep it fun to drive and out pull the Dodge's on the hills. I use the truck for hotshoting and farming so it will be hooked to the trailer more than it is unhooked. Let me know what you think.

I just got a complete ats with copilot and I will tell you that it rocks. I tow trailers with a skidsteer all the time it is just plain sweet not having to worry about toasting the tranny. I would recommend the copilot from my experience it gives it good hard shifts when set that way and nice easy ones when backed down.

I may add the CoPilot at a later date. I am going to be dropping enough money in this truck in short amount of time:eek: . I plan on putting around 150,000 miles on this truck so I want to built it not only for performance when towing, but also for the long haul.

What'd you end up spending on your ATS with CoPilot BBDMAX? Were you able to get it installed locally there in Ohio?

What'd you end up spending on your ATS with CoPilot BBDMAX? Were you able to get it installed locally there in Ohio? I got it from Crank It Up Diesel they are only about 20 miles from me at the most and I got new c4, c5, copilot and the complete package for $4600 installed out the door. They were cheaper than anybody else I contacted by a lot, and they did a great job.
