I have a diablosport predator, i bought it to remove the speed limiter and adjust my computer for my new larger tires. I cant get the dang thing to work, it keeps saying script error. I have an aftermarket alarm, stereo, and banks six gun do i have to remove everything to put this thing in? any suggestions

Banks is the best for diesel:ro)

Seems to me the thing to do is get Diablo on the phone. A script error is usually a program problem or an error was encountered that does not have a handling routine. From what I understand about the Predator, you should be able to run a "stock" tune and make your changes to your tire calibration, speedlimiter, etc. I would think it wouldn't matter, in this case, if you are running the 6 Gun, but before you do anything call Diablo before you void any warranty issues. Good luck.

When I tried to install the Predator the Six Gun wasnt even installed in my truck, I called Diablo and they said that it was probably my stereo or something electronic that I i installed. My friend has a diablo that he stackes with a Edge Juice and they work great he even has stereo equipment in it and aftermarket cab lights. Diablo is useless when it comes to customer service. My freind has a totally stock F-150 and his diablo wont work. I really think that it is a 400 dollar code reader

My works great from day 1 on my '03. I remove 2 fuses under the hood because of On-Star. I assume it is already 'married' to your rig. You could try pulling the fuses to your after market stuff and if it still doesn work you know you got a bad Predator. Get back with the vendor you bought it from.

the alarm and the stereo are causing you grief. pull the fuses for them so there is no currnt draw from them. and then retry. i would even pull the six gun. you could put it back in afterwards.

Lots more than 3 people here running the Predator with no problems. As everyone else has said a good place to start would be to pull the fuses to the aftermarket add-on electronics and see where you get with that.

I just make sure that the radio, heater and lights are off and it works everytime for me. I have never pulled the fuses

JhnZ71,

You also have to make _ _ _ _ sure you have the doors shut and everything shut down, even "On Star" if you have it. Seems the GM's are a little voltage sensitive as compared to other brands. You would be amazed how many folks don't read the manual and try the install with the doors open, the buzzer buzzing, radio on etc etc and just can't figure out why it won't work etc.
