i just got my ppe hot + 2 and i have been able to drive it for a couple days now and let the tranny learn it....>Holy crap, this thing is bad. The tranny acts 400% percent better with this tuner than it did with my edge + predator stack. It smokes even worse than before and i think it gets better mpg......will let you know when i get a tank that i can keep my foot out of it.
One thing i have noticed though is that it doesnt seem to pull as hard through first and halfway thru second. But it may just be so much smoother that i cant tell. The other tuners were violent shifting and bucking through first and second. But this thing runs like crazy on the top. I have the 270 tune in it right now. Thats probably where it will stay till i get a tranny. Saving my pennies.......
Thanx PPE for making such a great performance upgrade.
Where is the best deal on guages?

Running the 270 tune hope you have a lot of pennies saved for that tranny.
On gages the best deal I found was on Rpm outlet and it was a big mistake took me over 2 months to finally get the right gages. I would by fro a vendor from the vendor area.

after a few days its really getting better and better. I cant believe the tranny is still in it. 10,000 miles on the stack tune and still shifting ok.
One question, on the hand held the boost data doesnt seem right at all....At idle it is reading like 14 ??? What gives?

I Also Noticed A Difference. Just Even Between Edge And The E-power Wich Is Basically The Same As The Ppe Hot + 2 I Noticed The E-power Is Sooo Much Smoother Power, The Edge Almost Feels Choppy And Yes Violant Shifts,, But Now Im Stacked With Edge And E-power, Much Smoother Shifting And Power All The Way From 0 ( Or When The Turbo Spools ) To When Ever I Let Off. Its Crisp, ( Unless I Turn The Co-pilot On "race Mode" Then She Shifts Fast And Hard. Feels Great. I Need To Start Carrying My Vid Camera With Me ,, I Beat A Gsxr 1000 Yesterday Till 110

I would go with the ppe gauges. The look sick at night. Give Dan a call. He will hook you up.

14 or so is the psi of air pressure on this earth, then you have to add to that to get your boost

I think I'd turn down the power till I got my tranny and gauges. I really like the OPTIX gauges by Precol. They really go well with the dash gauges. are easy to install and smooth in operation. Not sure of price compared to the others.
