Thanks

Been using it like crazy, just got back from a week in Pennsylvania, heading to Indiana tomorrow for the weekend. Nice having the garage space for something as simple as the bicycles

Dave- Just don't take your wife to an RV show!

We actually sold our WW LE3505 fifth wheel to buy a bumper pull WW so we could use the back of the truck for toys as well as the trailer. Just before ordering the unit we wanted the salesman says- "Hey- let me show you something new."

After seeing the HKD (the wife was already decorating) my responce was- "Wow that is nice but a 12 foot garage won't work- we need more space"

His answer- "We can make it bigger."

Very nice rig. I have always like the WW. But, they are proud of them, we looked at the billet edition 40 footer, and it was pricey. So, I can only imagine what that set you back. I have a 12 foot garage, would have loved more but I hadn't even heard of 16' garages until this year. How many does it sleep? What is the GVW of that beast. I didn't think you could get any more weight on three axles. My gvw is 17,500, empty and dry mine is 13,200. I know that thing is a workout for your truck, mine is with the doubles. You might as well just give me all the specifics, I gotta know.

Beautiful Black Smoke- Being in Mesa I imagine you make it down to Gordons and Buttercup?

Tiny-

21k GVW- Pin weight is around 4k but goes down with toys in the back. It has beds for 11 but it is just my wife and two kids-
Weighs in right about 17k before adding water (165 gallons), fuel (60 gallons), toys...

Truck pulls it great and stops no problem but I have not pulled it up a long steep grade in real high temps- I imagine the truck would get pretty hot.

I agree WW is real proud of their trailers but this is our third and they are just good units-

Signguy------- Nice specs. thats alot room for the four of ya.We have four kids. Mine sleeps 12(so they say) holds 48 fuel 125 on water. We took it to a big park a month ago, and it was tight. We had there newest biggest site, needless to say they need bigger sites. They were barely long enough but were not wide enough, I could not put slides all the way out. So, you probably cant even get into a park. Still wish I had a 16' garage though.

here is a pic of what happens when you load you rig wrong try to do 80 mph and have someone driving that shouldnt be Just bought literally about a day and a half before this happened. No one was hurt but such a horrible feeling to see your brand new toy like that. I was towing my fifth wheel at the time and saw it happen in my mirror. My heart fell to the floor to say the least.

Holy crap that sucks. Did a tire blow or anything? How was it loaded? I feel for you.

I take some responsiabiltiy for it. I should of loaded my rail backwards so the motor is over or past the axels. Also I didnt fill her up with water. It didnt help that I have a heavy foot and I can do 80 mph all day long towing my 5th wheel and never move a inch. No tire blow out. Bad loading, bad driving and bad wind. Not a good combo. After almost 8 months with fighting the insurance co I got a new one.

I am sensing a Diesel Place Rally of some sort in the So Cal desert- maybe put some names and faces with members rigs would be fun in the Fall.

Would be cool to get a few of the manufactures/suppliers/members who have done some mods to do a little show and tell...

Or we could just drink, tell lies around the camp fire and off road:)

We can do it anywhere as far as I am concerned- Maybe try and find some place that allows AZ and/or NV as well as CA members to meet in the middle.

Ocotillo, Dumont, Glamis, Buttercup, Gordons, Dove Springs, Spangler Flats...

If we can get enough interest on the site we could do something pretty cool-

For the past 2 years a few of my buddies and I have been going to Dumont for President's Day weekend in Feb. The temp is good at that time of year minus a little wind. Location is good because its about 2 hours from Vegas, 4-5 Hours from LA, 5-6 hours from Sacramento. It took us 11hours but worth it everytime.

What about Razor Road? Off Interstate 15 about one hour north of Barstow.

OR

Spangler Flats- about one hour north of Mojave. Fun ride into Randsburg for lunch, a beer...

Either one of those would be great in the Fall and have plenty of room for a big group.
