Don't forget exhaust... Do a turbo back system, and get rid of the muffler and cat... And i would personally do a cold air intake of some sort.

I would say yes to the brace, talk to Mike L about it and you will want it.

I shimmed mine. The LB7 actually has a nicer bypass than LLY, LBZ, in the fact that it is all threaded together, you can screw apart and screw back together, none of the crimping stuff like the others.:D Hey theres got to be some advantage to stickin with the old stuff, right:)
You don't need to buy a shim kit, just get some 4mm flat washers, I think I put 2 in mine.

1. suncoast 3 I would go with a 4
2. ppe hot set on 270 EFI live if you have the time, and like to tinker
3. air box mod Good for up to 550 HP
4. tts dual lift pumps ---> confused on fuel pick up??? Pick up is not required if you're staying below 500 HP
5. brace the front end Good
6. gauges A must
8. spring clamps on the rear I like traction bars better
7. ??????

You'll need an exhaust to keep up with the fuel that programmer will be running. 4" is all you'll ever need. What are you intentions for this truck? that info. will better determine what parts will be mandated. Start saving money now, because it will never be enough once you get started. Soon you'll be looking at bigger turbos, dual CP3's and stronger pistons/rods!

4" is all you'll ever need.
But 5" looks so much cooler and's alot louder. And for just $40 more, i'd pick 5". Just my .02
