Just wanted to check EGT temps now that new turbo is on. I know I've seen on here before what they should be just can't find thread. I have probe post turbo what should they be? What if I move to Pre turbo (exhaust manifold)?

What should trans temps be for both normal driving and hauling? I am installing trans temp gauge this weekend.

The 300deg temp drop across the turbo is from the heat energy being 'exhausted' in driving the turbine.

Not a good idea to let EGT get over 1200deg pre-turbo.

Install the probe in that small 'boss' on the exh manifold, just below the turbo flange, with a 'pre-turbo' EGT gage - your EGT's will not then be easily offset by snowy, icy weather conditions.

Transmission - 180deg is cool , 280deg not cool.
