Is there an in cabin air filter on an 06 LBZ with the LT3 package? My A/C really smells when I first fire it up after letting it sit a couple hours. If not a filter any suggestions? I try to turn off the a/c and let the fan run until it's warm to blow the ducts out but it doesn't seem to help. Thanks.
Just found the answer to the filter question so I'm still in need of suggestions for the smell. I live in So. Cal so the temp is pretty much hot all the time and the a/c is used frequently, it doesn't sit but for a couple days at a timewithout being driven.

I do not know if it works, but check website www.healthylivingspaces.com (http://www.healthylivingspaces.com) for Auto Air Purifier Product ID: 160AN. Kind of pricey but it comes with a HEPA filter. If you decide to splurge, I would be interested if you are satisfied.

Do a search for "mildew" in Interior...you'll find your answers there.
P.S. there is no OEM cabin filter in the 06's.
