Hey guys I have a 2002 and it doesn't like to start after 8 Hours ???? I have been reading on theis sit for about a 3 weeks not and so far it is the injectors or the filter. BUT In the morning when i have to pump the fuel back into the line with the pump on top of the filter I can see a very small amount of fuel coming out the screw!!! Whats the vertic boys do I take it in and let them have it for a week to tell me it was the set screw and give me a big bill ??? The truck has 190,000 km ( canada ) so it does have the Injector warrenty till 320,000 km but I own my own oilfield company that iI am just starting up and I can't really afford the down time !!!

Thanks guys

The bleeder screw? Is it tightend all the way down? Is the oring in good repair? change that or the whole screw first. Might be letting you get a bit of air in the system.

If yoy have to prime the vehical to get it to run after its been sitting every time something is wrong.

Can not have any fuel leaks on the feed side, will pull air. So yes take care of that leaking screw next to the pump.

You can get the water in fuel sensor (which includes the screw) separately if you are paying. You need to replace it and be careful not to make it too tight. Usually gets damaged during filter changes and will cause your concern especially if you have seen it leak. If you still have warranty and a good dealer, let them know what is going on and have them replace the entire filter housing assembly. It includes the sensor and primer and is covered under the 100k warranty with deductible. L0748 operation coverage D.
Hope this helps.:D
