Why are the LMM trucks brakes so much better than the classic? Anybody actually know why? I've owned 2 LMM trucks and the brakes were awesome compared to my previous classic style trucks.

They're nearly dead ringers for each other. Corrosion gets the better of all of them and Read This to see how to check (post #7) http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/showthread.php?t=146597&highlight=another+soft+brake

I hear ya on the corrosion part I see it here in Pa all the time.

What Im talking about is the difference in feel from new, Ive owned a new Dmax every year since 01 and some ive had 2 a year, but the NBS trucks for some reason have awesome brake feel compared to the classic 07 and back. I had 2 07 LMM's and one 08 and now have a 07 classic so going back and forth I can tell a big difference in feel and overall performance in my opinion. I was just wondering if something was different that I have not come across, just curious I guess.

Thanks for all the info

the booster part number is the same since 2001 correct?

I just redid all my brakes with EBC rotors and EBC pads, and my buddy's stock LBZ still has 10x firmer brake pedal feel and more "grabby" and "sharp" brakes.

All new caliper slide bolts, polished/wire wheeled all of the stainless sliders, greased the hell out of everything...didnt help. Im going to try the automated bleed whenever I get a chance...I dont know what else to try.
