Since my thread in the LMM Forum isn't getting any replies I thought I'd try here.
At what boost pressure and exhaust temp should I get worried? I've seen over 1400 on the egt and 39 on the boost not towing. I'm running level 3 on the PPE Excelerator, should I try running level 2, would that drop the egt's & boost? I don't want to flash the pcm any more than I have to but I already know I'll have to drop to at least level 2 and maybe level 1 when I pull the 5er next Saturday. When I bought the PPE, Dan said it would be fine towing on level 2 but now I'm wondering if maybe there's different about the engine on my truck.
