Truck in signature keeps turning on the drivers side heated seat automatically. Does anyone have the schematics to the system or know where the control module is located?? Thanks

Have you noticed that it does it after a rain storm or carwash? Usually the condition of turning itself on is caused by the switch in the door getting moisture in it and failing. The control module is under the driver seat.

Not sure if your buttons for the heated seat is in the same location as our old 03, but I would bump them when using the window control. A real pain. We turned them on a zillion times by mistake.

my 05 cc has the same thing it turns on and some times adjusts automatically. no need for it when its 80deg + out. it sounds like a relay under the dash clicking when it happens. any ideas would be great. until then the fuse is coming out. thanks

On mine, when I press the button on driver side, it turns off right away. But the passenger side one is fine. Where would I start to see where the problem is?

My 2003 Duramax does the same thing. If i turn the seat warmer on, it will stay on for a little bit, until the seat warms up, then turns itself off. If it is already warmed up and I try to turn it back on, it instantly turns off. Its only the drivers seat that does this, the passenger side it fine.

You have one or both heating elements burnt out on your driver seat. Mine is doing the same thing. Found a burnt element in the seat cushon, put it back together and turns out the back element is toast too. Waiting for fall before I replace the back element.http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g225/CHEVYJEFF/DMAX/of50590442.jpg
