Also, plugged in my scangage II the other day. Don't have a dedicated boost gage, but remember reading that at idle the motor will push .2-.4 lbs of boost. However, my scangage reads 12.4-12.7 psi at idle. It should read 14.2-14.8 which is approximatly 1 bar (like my TDI and S-10). Is the motor really pulling a vacuum or is the sensor and computer calibration off?

MPG's continually get better, don't drive it much but this tank I'm pulling down 14.5 with 50% towing through town and 50% running down the highway light. 2500 miles.

Remember that the 14.7psi atmospheric pressure is theoretic and at sea level.
Check what the baro pressure is in milibars from an online weather station in you area like noaa.org. Use this as a zero baseline. Turn the key on and see what the scangauge reads without the engine running and compare to what it is with it running. For the record, mine has always showed in the mid-high 12 psi range when idling.

the lmm's have a "throttle body" to restrict air. It helps with the regens. It also helps with warmups..
