I have MBRP 5" turbo back exhaust but on a recent off road trip my down back pipe come loose and fell to the ground.

Instead of rolling around in the mud i just threw it in the back and continued on. I eventually want to put it back on but just havent had the time "or feel like looking at the underside of my truck after the lift install again" to get under there and weld it together.

So my question is will this have any side effects leaving the downpipe back off for awile, I'm really starting to love the sound:D

I don't have an LMM, but I love the way my LB7 sounds with just a straight pipe back from the turbo! :D

I would imagine the whole undercarriage of your truck will be black soon from your PPE. But hey, it will keep it from rusting!

Haha yeah i dont think you have much to worry about except for the nasty soot all over your undercarriage but i bet that thing sounds sweet! Some people run it straight out of the hood from the turbo!

Hmmm now there's an idea:D

Yeah it sounds pretty sick when the turbo hits full boost, sounds like it might suck small kids and pets off the street.

I have the programmer turned down to level 1 now since diesel is closing in on $5 a gallon here, so i doesnt smoke bad at all.

gotta love getting 20 mpg with a 7" lift and 35's "highway of course" city driving i see around 15mpg.. Im pretty sure its even improved since the exhaust fell off.
