The truck normally sits most the time but I've been driving it recently. Since its been about 100 degrees daily around here, I turned on the air conditioner and it just doesn't sound right. It sounds just like a turbine, really loud. I tried turning the A/C on and off but that didn't work. I'm assuming its the fan, but how would I fix it?

Thanks,

Andy

You probably just have a leaf stuck in the blower motor.Just pull it out and clean out the debris.

I won't have time to take it apart until Saturday afternoon. Its about 110 outside today. Since the air still works, its just very loud, can I still run the air or would it be bad for it? I can deal with the noise as long as I stay cool on the way to work this afternoon.

Thanks,

Andy

It shouldnt hurt anything if its the blower motor it will just quit or blow a fuse.

How do you remove & clean the AC blower motor? Mine vibrates & is so freaking loud on the 3 highest speeds that the whole cab feels like it is shaking off of the frame & you can't even hear the engine rev!!!
