Hello to all,
Could someone explain what you mean by (turbo barking)? I have just installed the adge juice / attitude, and do not notice a big obvious change. Maybe I am expecting to much. Like the front cover of the brocher!!!! hahaha Anyway I do notice some hammering from the engine on level one. enough to make me nervous. Is this normal?? Oh yeah I have the LLY

I have yet to experience it on my LLY but I haven't run the Edge much yet either. I could create it at will on my LB7. It's basically a "woof woof woof woof" sound (hence, "barking"). It's most common on bigger hp setups where the turbo is creating a great deal of boost and you let off the throttle suddenly and completely. The engine immediately doesn't want more air and it has no where to go but back through the turbo causing the turbo impeller to slow faster than it should. It's spinning one way and the air is trying to force it the other way to escape. That woof woof woof sound you hear is the pressure escaping where it really shouldn't be. It has the potential to cause damage so it's not a good really a good thing.

I've read of some people having it happen during shifts on high hp setups but I have yet to experience that. As far as the LLY bark, I haven't played with the Edge much to really know when or why it does it, if it does it.

A slight increase in injector noise is not going to hurt.

If you get "LLY Edge" bark (apparently not all trucks get it) you will know it. You will be accelerating at 1/2 to full throttle, and as the truck shifts, the truck will lurch back and forth, and a noise that can be described as a bark or a cough will happen. You WILL notice it if it happens, and it WON'T sound "OK". It's not subtle.

What settings are u running?
For kicks go to level 5 and low boost 5 get engine temp over 180* (on attitude) find a straight road, stop then stomp on the go pedal.
*** a note of caution, this will hurt the alli, normally when it goes into 5th gear.
It won't shift real good but u will see black smoke.
I run mine on the defuel 4-5 shift only.
