Does anyone know of an electric kit to put on my trailer jacks? I have a 25ft. gooseneck flatbed with twin, heavy duty jacks. It is sloooow and turns like a mule. There's no way to be in a hurry when jacking this thing up or down and you have to switch hands constantly because it turns so hard. I've been thinking about using some sort of a motor to turn the handles. Any DIY tips or aftermarket kits available?

I dont know about electric but my jacks are spring loaded so it keeps the amount of jacking to a minimum. You push em down with your feet and then they lock in place maybe jack 3 to 5 inches to get them off of the ball depending on the ground. When you hook up you pull the pin and bam if you are not carefull they will take off a finger they spring up a good 6 to 12 inches. I know this may not be exactly what looking for heck I dont no even if you can replace them, (mine came this way). Anyhow it might be another option.

See if you could weld an old socket, or a bolt to where the jack handle goes, then use an air or power drill to do it.. just an idea

Here is one designed for a single jack, maybe they could be tied together.

That sounds like exactly what I have. Except it takes a "big" man to turn the crank. I ain't no wimp and I get worn out lifting it just off the ball! So does my buddy and he spends 5 days a week in a gym and looks like Paul Bunyon (sp?)

As hard as it turns, I've never seen a drill that strong.

This is close to what i had in mind but it says its for a two-speed jack, mine is single speed.

My livestock trailer (single jack) has the same type of jack and until you hit the ground you can spin the handle with two fingers, not on my flatbed though. Do you suppose I just need to grease the hell out them? I'm not sure if I can get to the top side of them to pull the cover off. I'll have to take a look.
