Wiring question. I have a 20 ft equitment trailer. that has gone to heck. The brakes stopped working then brake lights went out and then running lights whole 9 yards. Is there a guide soemwhere to look at for re wiring? thanks guys

Not sure what you are asking. Maybe the standard 7way wiring? Check your truck, there may be a pircure on the cover.

Go to tekonsha.com and look in the wiring catalog. The technical section has the correct wiring diagrams for all types of plugs. The only problem you may run into is the two standards for the 6 wire round plug. The electric brakes and the aux 12v are reversed. You will find this in a lot of the 7 pin to 6 pin adapters. This will lock your trailer brakes as soon as you connect the trailer to the tow vehicle. If so swap the red and blue wires. Some adapters are made where you can swap the red/blue wires inside the adapter body. Hope this helps.

I gave up and dropped it off at a shop they gutted all the wiring and started over.There where so many breaks in the wires it wasnt any good. The wires where all one color which is what made it so hard.
