does anyone elses lly with predator set on 100hp blow ALOT of black smoke...mine does):h . dont get me wrong i like it alot how it smokes but was wondering if anyone elses does the same?

My LLY really really smoked with the EDGE on level 5 and low fuel boost set to max. It'll fill an intersection if I'm goofing around. It smokes enough that it draws quite a bit of attention to yourself. NCMIC 02-22-2005, 04:56 PM find a ricer with the window rolled down and have fun with it. it is great in traffic to keep them away from you. plus if they want some, give them a little race and alot of taste of what a diesel will hold. Just can't hold back anymore! when i got mine i was kind of scared at first, then i threw a p0700, lyndon at westers garage told me it was because the trans sensed slip, turned predator down to 85 and it didnt smoke nearly enough or have enough power, so i turned it back up. when i turned it back up, i took it kind of easy for a few days so that the tranny would learn it and havent had a problem since. my foot gets real heavy at times and truck runs great. smokes even more pulling a case 70xt skidloader! becareful of trans slip from 4th to 5th gear at first until trans learns the 100hp program, after it learns it, look out...you will have lots of power, smoke and fun!! jmg343 02-23-2005, 01:35 AM baddass- any tranny upgrades? how many miles would one expect to get out of their stock allison if they drove hard and kept their truck on the 100hp seting? BaddAssDURAMAX 02-23-2005, 09:08 PM no trans upgrades here, i trade yearly. i dont know life expectancy of trans with 100hp program, but not too worried about it. i kind of have a feel for my tranny so if i would notice anything wrong, i will surely back off the 100hp | ||
