What the title said. Are the SCIII's failing? Curious minds want to know.

like anything out their, over time things are made better, bit more holding power, with a bit more pressure when needed, and at a ower price, so far it has been great

THose that have a III are not very likely to spend the money again to move up unless failure. Not much of that so I dont see a huge band wagon jump.

As for the unmolested transmissions, I have done III's even after the IVs availability. Its just what a guy wants I guess. My thinking is, buy as much as you can afford, big price step from a IV kit to an assembled IV.

I will not be upgrading just for the sake of a few hard parts in the L-IV kit..........


In fact the only thing I might do is up line pressure and add a Co-Pilot...........

I do not see the need..........especially since Diesel Power ran a Transgo/Single TC for over a year with an Xtreme............

But hey if you want to go the extra mile the first time around..........I say :grd:
