just checked my balance rates both in park at idle and in drive, here they are,

at idle in park// //at idle in Drive

1. 3.2 / 5.2
2. 2.9 / 4.8
3. 3.4 / 4.8
4. 3.5 / 5.5
5. 2.4 / 4.8
6. 3.3 / 5.1
7. 3.5 / 5.3
8. 3.5 / 5.2

last time i checked them they were all lower than they are now, that was a few months ago when i first got the ATS tuner but lately ive been noticing less power which im sure also has some to do with my fuel filter being a bit overdue for changing. not getting any white smoke, only smoke i get is dark black but it does seem to blow smoke with less throttle then it did before. also when the boost does kick in sometimes the truck just feels flat not pulling hard like it did before. also no sign of diesel in the oil but ive only checked the dipstick so far. so what do you guys think? am i on my way to needing injectors or is it still too early to tell? as far as i know they are still original at almost 118K.

sounds to me like you need your old hypertech III back... sorry man i couldnt resist. i remember your first post of balance rates and there is most definatley a difference, you need to ask your dealer what the cutoff is for the rates i f i remember correctly 2 had to be above 3??? someone else will chime in im sure. best of luck

haha, na thats allright, i guess the spec is +/- 4 in park and +/- 6 in drive so im still in spec for now but its looking like they are on their way, guess ill just keep an eye on them. i did reset the tranny last night and that made a huge difference in how it drives, it actually feels like a different truck now, feels much more powerful. must have just gotten sluggish due to all of the slow city driving ive been doing on the way to work and back trying to save fuel.
