Any body have tips on the best exhaust for a 2006 duramax lbz. I want power plus economy. The sound that im looking for is a deep rich sound not rough or throatie.

start by searching for "best exhaust".. good luck.
If you want more power/economy, get a tuner. The only place a exhaust gets better economy is near wide open throttle, when there are lots of gasses that need to get out in a hurry. At wot economy is no longer in the picture..

Yes, you may see a few ponies with a good exhaust system, you will see way more with even the crappiest tuner..

Check out Diamond Eye Exhaust, great kits and inexpensive too. You wil find the MBRP is the most popular kit by far.

Before i get a tuner i need a exhaust first right. And all i asked was what exhaust kits is the best. A turbo-back exhaust or a cat-back exhaust. And what makes the best power and sound.

Best power and sound is all up to you. You won't see any gain from one to another. As for turbo (actually its a downpipe back) or cat back, I'd go with the turbo back to get rid of the kitty. More of a benefit in EGT's. And you don't need an exhaust before a tuner, I ran a tuner on the stock exhaust for 5 months before I bought my 5".

Lookin for power and sound with the easyest install and doesnt void warranty. Any exhaust cause more black smoke and what would be the best to keep the egt's down.

If you dont want to worry about warranty, get a cat-back kit. You can always add a front-pipe (cat-delete) later if you want to. The best setup to keep EGTs down is a full kit sans cat.

A full kit meaning a down-pipe back kit like the MBRP S6004409.

you should also check out blocking your EGR and a finger stick before you get a tuner. I know i dont want black soot going through my engine. But straight out the back is good!! :)

Use the search button it is your friend. Get a Turbo back kit and get a muffler deleat pipe. If you are worryed about the warranty keep the stock front pipe and if you need to bring the truck in put the stock front pipe back on. It takes me about 10 mins to change out the front pipe. If you live where they salt the road get a stainless kit if not get an aluminized kit. All exhaust kits sound the same when you remove the cat and muffler. Most mufflers sound the same if they are flow threw. Like I said use the search button if you have any more questions.
Could you be a little more specific please

Just bought a predator and was wondering if any upgrades are required.
