I have been working on my efilive to get a lower power better economy tune.

Can i use the DIC as a rule of thumb, i know its not right but if its going up i should be getting better mileage right.

I cranked the boost down and the fuel up and with my edge on level 6 i was showing like 23 mpg on the way to work today, now i know thats not 23mpg but normally on the same trip i would be at like 18ish, so can i assume i am getting some what better mpg with this tune or im i stupid for even thinking so?

anyone that has some tips for an economy MPG tune please let me know.
I want the best mpg i can get. With nicks racetune from duramaxtuner.com

I am getting about 17 in town (hand calc) and 20 highway( hand calc)
I thought i was getting better than that but i was wrong.

I just want to get the best mileage possible, dont care about power when i am just driving to work.

thanks

if you don't touch the amount of fuel, just the timing & turbo.. The dic *should* be as accurate as before.
