I have the factory Nav unit but CA goes Handsfree Calling on July 1. I would like a stereo that will allow me to run off my IPhone.

If I junk the current unit what should I replace it with?

Replacement unit must have XM- (no-Sirius for me), Nav, Bluetooth, IPOD adapter, want to still use the steering controls, must intergrate with the rear video for the kids...

I really like the factory unit but it is just incredible to me that they didn't intergrate blue tooth into a $2k option. Why wouldn't GM come out with an option, update... right away?

Help- Suggestions????

Well, I know its no help for your 07.5, but the 2009 Silverado NAV units will include Bluetooth integration.

I would just get a car mounted bluetooth device, such as a Parrot, or Motorola IHF1000. For about $200 or less, you're good to go. This way your existing NAV unit meets the requirements for XM, steering wheel controls, ipod jack, and rear DVD integration. I would think any other solution is going to cost $2000 or more.

You could save a bunch of money and just get a Bluetooth speaker adapter for your phone. I picked up a Motorola T305 and clipped it on my visor... works fine and you can move it to any car.

I called the factory stereo manufacture and in 2009 Blue Tooth will be an option for the factory NAV unit-

The lady I spoke with said to be patient and that a blue tooth option would be available for the factory unit in earlier models (2007-2008) in a short period of time-
