I've always been interested in lowering this kind of van and throwing on some classic Cragar II type wheels. I don't have the van yet but it's definitely one of the things I'd love to do to make my mobile car wash a little more interesting or attracting

I'd like to lower my Mom's 99 Savana, as my grandparents find climbing in and out of the Van a little difficult (at 4'10 and 5'2 are you suprised?).
I don't think the simple static drop shakles would work, as there is already some sort of shackle on the back, and the rear of the spring is fairly close to the floorboard. Another Idea that I have floating around in my mind is to 4-link it and put bags in the front. That way the van can be lowered for loading and unloading, while still running reasonable ground clearance. (Needed on occasion in the country). I'd also think that a lower ride height would help with the rollover aspect of these vehicles...
