So when I turn the ignition on there is a buzzing/humming noise coming from either the boost or the pyro gauge(at least I think its coming from the gauges), and then again right after the truck has been started. Its only on for a sec or two. It started after I installed my Autometer Sport Comp II gauges, before I had Ultralite gauges and I never noticed the humming/buzzing.
Is anyone else getting this, or did I mess something up on the reinstall.

Mine does too. I have the Cobalt boost and pyro gauge. I think it is from the pyro, but it hasnt bothered me enough to dig into it.

Depending on the gauge model certain gauges use a stepper motor to drive the pointer rather than a more common meter movement. The buzz comes the gauge zeroing the pointer at turn-on. Since turning the power off to the gauge while it is indicating some value will leave it in that position, the gauge has to re-establish it's zero point before it can give a valid reading. The gauge does not remember the last position of the pointer when turned off. If the gauge is already sitting on zero at startup, the circuitry will still drive it against the stop as if it were sitting at full scale. This is a calibration sequence and ensures the gauge is set to give the most accurate reading.

Alright, just wanted to make sure the noise was normal. Thanks.
