ok, back from the dealer, got the latest software upgrade and still throwing the same 3 codes: P0299, P0401 & P0404. WTF!

Does anyone know what I can do next to figure out this problem. The low boost code (P0299) I can feel in the performance loss. Truck loses power from that code and I don't like that.

Please help me out here....

does anyone know what could throw a low boost code and couple the 2 EGR codes with it. My EGR valve is blocked and have a fingerstick in place too. EGR should be bypassed completely and should not be throwing codes. please advise.

you might want to try removing the fuel injector connector at the passenger side cylinder closest to the firewall (# 8 I think) and improving the connection (I used dielectric grease). I had a similar problem, similar codes, but mine was for the front drivers side cylinder/FI connector (code 0204). Improving the connection fixed it all up. Somewhere in the archives here is where I found the solution, wish I could remember where. I think I may have searched by "Code 0204". There is a known problem for both the cylinder 2 & 8 connections, I could have taken it to the dealer under warranty but didn't care for the method of remedy I'd heard about on this forum - cutting off the old connector and splicing on a new one with butt connectors. No thanks.

Good luck.
