My transfer case on my 88 Jimmy bit the dust on me the other day and I was wondering if anyone knew of a place that would give a little help on specs and stuff for putting the thing back together. For the most part it looks pretty self explanatory but I dont want to screw something up with tolerances, etc...
When I tore it apart, there was blue plastic pieces all over the screen going to the pump. The other item that looked really wore was the fork that does the engaging, is that normal?

I pm'd you with the reassemble process. The blue pieces are probably the pads for the shift fork. Too much wear on the fork won't let it engage all the way.
