I just installed my 4” exhaust, love it, my question is I went from the 4 bolt flange back, is there any benefit from going the extra 24” or so off the turbo flange by the wheel well.

Not unless there is a CAT in there, otherwise, you did right.

The down-pipe is more like 48". None the less you have releived most of the restriction.

Yea your right it about 48", I talked to John from Diesel Performance Shops, and he said you won't gain much if any with the turbo to the flange pipe.
