Dear All members
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>
I got Silverado with 6.6 Duramax.
The engine made only <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:metricconverter w:st="on" ProductID="15,000 km">15,000 km</st1:metricconverter>.
<o:p></o:p>
Their are loud knocks from the engine, sound level of the knocking is very noticeable.
<o:p></o:p>
The dealer disassembles the engine and could not find what it is, fhey toughs that it might be crank bearing or piston pin. But there is not an evidence for this so far.
<o:p></o:p>
Is anyone know what it can be?
or do you have any experience about knocks in those engines?
<o:p></o:p>
Thks!
