Great Site, Guys.http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/cool.gif
I have worked for the same construction company for the past 11 years and have been lucky enough to move up from Chief Truckwasher to Maintenance Department Manager (In name only as there is only one mechanic, mehttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/mad.gif ).
We have gone through every brand of full size pickup truck and have finally reached GM trucks for all new purchases. I hope to derive as much help and share as much information as I can from here.
Record Mileage GM ---- '99 Sierra 15004x4 264,000 miles, original shocks, no oil consumption between computer recommended oil changes, still had dreaded piston slap at time of sale from fleet, one new fuel injector, one fuel pressure regulator, new plugs at 202,000 mi. http://www.dieselplace.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif
