Ok So Im Seeing About 24- 26 Psi Boost From 0 - 60 Ish. From Any Roll Or From A Stop I Am Only Seeing 24-26. Now When The Tq Converter Locks On The Highway The Gauge Jumps To 30- 32 Psi With No Problem. Why Am I Not Pushing The 30's At All Times? Why Only From 60-65 Mph +

Are these Edge readings? I have anolag gauges and mine @ WOT with the ATS on Level 7 will easily get to the 34 PSI range and I have to let off by 4th gear. I do have the boost valve though. How are your EGT's?

No This Is Off The Ats Gauges. I Had The Boost Valve But I Took It Off I Didnt Rly Notice A Difference With It. Im Still On Stock Pipe For My Exhaust, Savin For The Stacks. So Im Running Pretty Hot By 0 - 70 Ill Hit 15 In The 1/4 Mile Ill Hit Just Under 16 But I Should Have The Stacks Here Is A Week Or 2. So That Will Help Tremendously. Might Also Bring My Boost Psi Up A Bit. I Just Cant Figure Out Why Its 25 All The Way Till 60 Then The Tq Converter Locks And Ill Jump To 31.

I have spiked mine to 31 a couple of times runnin the edge on 5-6 and superchip on performance setting. I can never get 31 though unless i punch it from a roll. I have the boost fitting that gained about 8-10 overall that helped alot.

Have you guys ever blew your IC Boot off running 30psi?? I blew mine off the other day and was just wondering if it just wasnt tightened enough after i got a new intercooler. (thanks to ****ing deer).

i blew mine off in my old truck but that was after running high boost while 4x4 launch as soon as i got off the brake it blew right off. im sure it was just not tight enough. and i just couldnt figure out why im getting 25 from 0 - 65 mph and then when the converter locks it jumps to 31. but i figure its just cuz boost is produced alot by engine load so when the converter locks the motor is under more strain so i figure it has to do with the engine load.

Wish mine would do that. I don't know whats wrong with it. Even towing(especially around 55-65mph)it will only boost at around 5-7 psi. I have no clue what to do, it pulls like ass.

Kurt check the intercooler line above the steering box to make sure it isn't rubbed through. The hardened steering line will rub a hole through the intercooler line, it is fairly common on LB7s.

Boost is relative to fuel and engine load. When the convertor locks up the connection between the engine and transmission is now direct as opposed to a fluid coupling. The direct connection is more load on the engine especially at highway speeds.
