Anyone know who makes a maintenance and repair manual for a '03? I used to get the Haynes manuals for my gas trucks. I would like to have something for the basics like oil changes, tranny fluid changes, fuel filter changes, etc. Maybe this forum has something like it. Just purchased used truck and like doing my own maintenance (that way I know it was done correctly). Have had too many bad experiences at the dealer.

Same for me and my '01. I've been looking for anything that cover the HD's, with or without the diesel since I bought it in Feb '01. I've made do with an older book that dealt with the earlier series pick-ups, but it's still hit and miss. Fortunately, my son is now a diesel mech, so that helps. But a manual specific to this chassis would be the thing. Even as a cd-rom or dvd. Whatever... BB

I bought the entire factory manual set at: http://www.helminc.com/helm/homepage.asp?r=

$135! Ouch. Usually find a Haynes or Chilton for under $30. If that's all I have to choose from, then I guess that's what I'll get. But you would think that with all the Heavy Duty's you see on the highways and byways that there would be a real market for a Haynes/Chilton publication. Especially now that this chassis is in it's fifth model year of production. Just my $.02. BB

Parent,
All of what youve asked for and a ton more is already on this forum. Just do a search on what you want and hit "print". Build your own manual. Mine is presently a full 3 ring binder. Just my .02$.

Mudbug,

You are dead on! I found the link for fuel filter, printed it off and was done by dark today! Thanks, parent
