Ok Has IT EVER BEEN DECIDED IF ONCE YOU UPLOAD YOUR PRED FOR THE FIRST TIME IT SAVES THAT STOCK TUNE AND DOESNT RELOAD IT EVERYTIME?

I NEED TO KNOW BECAUSE JUST GOT MY TRUCK BACK FROM DEALER AND HAVE THE 5TH GEAR LOCKOUT BUTTON AND CURRENT SOFTWARE DOWNLOADED INTO THE TCM AND PCM FOR THE ALLI. SO IF I DOWNLOAD A PERFORMANCE TUNE WILL I LOSE MY NEW PROGRAMMING? DO I NEED TO SEND MY PRED BACK TO HAVE IT CLEARED.

They save the current stock info on your truck in the handheld. So if you need to go back (when you take it in to the dealer), it will put back what you had before you added the performance info.

I see what you are asking. Your "stock" tune in your Predator is now different than your "stock" tune in your trucks PCM because of the reflash. I see you have the LB7 model which is different than the LLY model. The LLY model re-loads (backs-up) the "stock" tune from the PCM everytime you go from stock to a performance tune.

Is there some kind of "re-store" or Re-back-up" option on you model?

You may want to call DiabloSport before removing you current stock tune.

You will not loose your transmission control module software when uploading the performance software. Your fifth gear inhibit software will still work. I speak from personal profession... chevytech (as in dealer tech):D
