:confused:When I floor it the tranny seems to be slipping through the first three or four gears, I don't get any code or anything but the trucks seems to be constantly surging forward. Seems to shift completely normal when driving casual, truck has been doing this since new now has 10,000 miles,
any ideas or tdoes this sound normal?
Thanks in advance

Sorry, forgot to say i have a edge evolution currently set to stock. The truck has been doing this since new. I have only had the tuner for a couple of months. I have been through all four tunes and the truck has done this with every tune.

Sounds like you are feeling the effects of defueling.
Engine computer talks to transmission computer. Transmission tells engine it is going to shift. Engine backs down the power during the shift to help prevent slipping the clutches. After the shift the power goes back to where you wanted it.

i know it sounds odd, but have you recently changed your fuel filter? a buddy of mine had that problem on his nbs 07 with only 450 miles on it. we figured the fuel the dealer used to fill it up with had water in it. when i took it off to replace, it was half full of water and rust. if he was just cruising it was fine. if he floored it, it would go good till about 2k-2.5k rpms then just hang there and take forever to shift. no problems after the change.

Changed fuel filter about 3000 miles ago didn't make any difference. could it be possibly the torque converter not working properly? I can definately feel when it locks, maybe its normal it just doesn't feel right to me. Maybe I should go drive another truck and compare.
Thanks
