Anyone in Southeastern Mass. (close to Plymouth) own a TECH 2? Or that is a skilled operator with one? I recently spoke with the service manager at a dealership and he had never heard of the high idle mod on my GMC '03 LB7. His only comment was to ask about warranty issues because I added to the mod. Dealers can be such knuckleheads. He just wishes I would waste my money to have one of his hacks install it.
I need someone who can adjust my high idle to run at either 900 to 1000 on the set level. and 1200 on resume.
So has anyone close to me had this done? I don't feel like spending the 75 bucks to have the guy say "It can't be done on this truck". When I dam well know it can.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
