Found a great deal on a Magnaflow SS exhaust. Wondering what opinions were from those who have/had one or have heard them?


I had a Magnaflow muffler on my old 6.0 gasser, sounded good but drone in cab was bad. I am looking for better sound outside, minimal inside. Not really interested in straight pipe at this time, I guess I've been domesticatedhttp://www.dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif!

You had resonance from the Magnaflow? For the most part I've heard that they DON'T have that problem. Hmm...

I had the Magnaflow cat back on my 02 Sierra Denali with the 6.0 and it droned so badly at highway speeds passengers complained.http://dieselplace.com/forum/smileys/Confused.gif

I HAVE THE MAGNAFLOW ON MY DMAX AND LOVE IT. IT CHANGED THE SOUND TO A DEEP BIG BLOCK GAS MOTOR SOUND. AS FOR AS THE IN CAB SOUND ITS DEEP AND MELLOW.

You cant compare the results in a 6.0 to the Dmax.


The 6.0L had a drone problem from the factory.
