I'm ready to take the plunge and get a small in the bed tank. The only question before I order is whether or not anyone has had their GM waranty voided because of installing the system?
The tank I'm considering is the Transfer Flow 30 gallon.

I don't think that warranty would be voided from adding a slip tank. I was looking at the Transfer Flow tanks before but can't justify spending that much money on one when I can get a 200 liter tank made out of diamond plate for around $500.

I hope that is the case. I have never heard of anyone having a problem with installing them and then GM voiding the warranty. But I hear all kinds of other warranty issues and it started me thinking about it.
Since I want to use a fill tube that would go thru my camper shell I decided to go to TF. I didn't notice any other company havng a better solution for what I want to do. Yes, they are very expensive, but I can't afford to have any fumes in the camper shell. If I was not concerned about having the tank under the shell and had an open bed, I would consider some of the less expensive systems out there. Ah, to save some money would be music to my ears, but I can't see how. And I've been looking and looking for a bargin on these TF tanks but there are none to be had right now.

My in-bed 50 gallon TransferFlow tank was installed by my dealer........they've installed it in every one of my last 3 trucks as well. I don't think you have anything to worry about with an in-bed tank. And you'll love it once you have it!!! :D

i'm running a 95 gallon tank in the bed and none of the stealers have said a thing about it. not much they can say because its only a tank in the bed of the truck. I'm also running a GPI transfer pump on it too. Had to modify the corners a bit to fitin front of the wheel wells but not a big problem. Just make sure to really check the welds before you fill it up!! It takes a long time to empty 95 gallons into the truck when you got a weld leaking!!LOL

Snapper and Waggie

That's what I needed to hear, a few more people who had no problems with Chevy or GM over the tanks. Now I can go forward and order.

Just an update. I now have the Transferflow tank installed in the bed. I was able to do the install myself and it went well. It works like advertised and there are no fumes or leaks in the bed. I was worried about that, but now, no worries. The TraxII system is nice to have also. If anyone is considering doing this product/project I would reccommend it.
